The science of geography has become an essential and important axis in many fields that make it a fertile field for scientific, practical and applied activities in the daily life of the student, as it is considered one of the sciences with a great and clear role in the cultural and scientific formation that develops the national, Arab and global sense, which is concerned with the daily affairs that revolve around it. Which is represented in the geographical subjects that are taught in the stages of secondary education, and hence the importance of the study lies in the development and improvement of geography education in the secondary education stages because it is the basis upon which the rules of geography education are built, and some proposed perceptions of applied trends in the teaching of geography, and this study seeks to answer the questions The main question: What is the proposed vision for these proposed applied directions for teaching geography as a science and as a subject? The study aims to define the general objectives of teaching geography and try to apply the proposed modern trends for teaching applied geography and its educational implications in the secondary education stage. In this study, the researcher will use the descriptive approach to achieve the objectives of the study and the answer. To her questions, the research also made several recommendations Among them, holding intensive training courses and holding workshops revolving around clarifying the importance of teaching applied geography and learning it for students, while obligating teachers to attend these workshops and courses and benefit from their results and recommendations, as there is no point in an old teacher and the content of a new curriculum that he cannot deal with in a world full of means Modern and advanced education, and the formation of a specialized committee that includes educational and academic members in the field of geography, curricula and teaching methods, and coordination with the relevant government agencies in this regard to study and implement this proposal.
