Checking For Plagiarism

All researches submitted for publishing are checked by Turnitin plagiarism prevention program, through which violations of duplicate researches, lost and falsified data, as well as inappropriate credit for the researcher's contribution can be detected.

Plagiarism, fraud or intentionally inaccurate data are considered unacceptable behavior. Moreover, the process of submitting the same research to more than one journal is considered immoral and unacceptable behaviour.

Midad Al-Adab Journal refuses to evaluate any research with a plagiarism rate up to 20%, including the similarity resulting from the use of AI services, as it should not exceed 5%.

Midad Al-Adab Journal automatically examines all the researches submitted through Turnitin software. The member of the journal responsible for the program will then follow up the search control proceedings, and choose to run the similarity report at any other point during the review process.

The similarity report presentation process provides the percentage of research text that overlaps with one or more published research.

The reuse of legitimately cited text may contribute to reducing the plagiarism rate.
