The Alienation of Arabic Rhetoric from Educational Curricula

Abstract

This research is related to the criticism of the alienation of rhetoric and the lack of educational curricula, but the science of rhetoric is one of the most important Arabic sciences that contribute to linguistic taste and refine the talent of expression and deep understanding of texts, no doubt that it is a decorative science for words that some attribute to Arabic rhetoric. Scholars fagine that it is an existing science related to the essence of the word, its components, the strength of influence and the beauty of persuasion. Rhetoric witnessed a kind of alienation in our curriculum, so its status and presence declined, so it became a rigid vocabulary, not a tool for tasting and communication. The research dealt with the definition of rhetoric and its sections, and the history of its development and educational importance in sympathy with the above, it showed the manifestations and reasons for the alienation of rhetoric, the first of which is an analysis of curricula and books, and the second is environmental factors that have a social impact on this.
