Abstract

Community services (educational and health) are among the most important indicators of human development that must be provided to the population with high efficiency and commensurate with the number of the population and their spatial distribution. Population growth must be accompanied by an increase in the number of educational and health institutions in the same proportions. Pressure on the available services, which leads to a decrease in the efficiency of these services, by making a comparison of the growth of the city’s population through multiple stages with the development in services for the period between (2006-2025), as the study relied on the descriptive and analytical approach, as the research found an increase in population at a higher rate of development of communal services due to the natural increase of the population, In addition to the migration of many families from the areas adjacent to housing in the city, as we note that the health services suffer from a lack of medical personnel, especially specialized doctors, which forces the citizen to go to the center of the governorate or the capital to obtain appropriate medical care, while the educational services suffer from permanent The double building for one building for two or more schools, and on this basis, the study recommended to reconsider the nature of the distribution of services in line with the population increase taking place with the development of future plans to accommodate the future increase in the population.
