Praising and Criticizing can have varying effects on society, as each has its positives and negatives. When used in a balanced manner, they can contribute to reinforcing Islamic values in society. However, unbalanced use may lead misconceptions that will negatively affect society. The research included an introduction, chapters, each containing several section, a conclusion, recommendations, and sources and references. The first chapter comprised four section: the first and the second sections clarified the theoretical concepts of the title, the third section included some terms related to praise and criticism, and the fourth section covered the appearance of these concepts in the Quran, Hadith, and scholars’ opinions. The second chapter contained three sections. The first section discussed the importance of Praise and Criticism for the well-being of society, the second section examined the positive and negative effects of Praise, and the third section explored the positive and negative effects of Criticism. The conclusion provided some findings, including that Praise and Criticism are effective educational tools for societal well-being if used correctly and in a balanced manner. Praise encourages individuals to repeat positive behaviors and helps build self-confidence, enabling them to face challenges with greater confidence. Criticism can be an effective means of correcting undesirable behaviors and helps reinforce social standards and values. Constructive Criticism can motivate individuals to improve their performance and develop themselves.
