The industrial projects of all types and sizes are of great importance in the country's economy, and therefore the development of these industrial facilities has a major role in the progress of the country, and this matter cannot be achieved unless the material capabilities are available that play a major role in that. The concept of loans and their types that are granted to industrial establishments, and the most important conditions that the bank imposes on the owner of the industrial project were discussed, and on the other hand, the concept of industrial projects (small, medium and large) in Basra Governorate was discussed, as small industrial projects accounted for (96.9%) of The total number of industrial establishments in Basra Governorate،As for large industrial establishments, they represented a very small percentage compared to small projects, amounting to (2%), while medium industrial establishments represented the lowest percentage, reaching (1%). The reality of industrial loans granted by the Industrial Bank, and the Bank’s initiatives, were also discussed. The Central Bank provides loans to various governmental and private banks, which in turn facilitate obtaining loans for the project owner to carry out his industrial project in exchange for some conditions that are appropriate to the nature and size of the project being established, as the percentage of loans granted to industrial projects by the Industrial Bank reached (64.3%), which is the largest percentage compared to With the number of loans granted to the rest of the country's governorates،The industrial sector also occupied the largest share of the amounts disbursed to the public budget for the various sectors, amounting to (44.4%).
