Abstract

The study aims to show the values of climate comfort during the day, night, during the day, and months and seasons of the year, by applying the Thom equation to calculate the temperature-humidity index (THI), and Siple - basel equation for calculating the wind cooling index (K), based on data Climatic relates to minimum and maximum temperature rates, maximum and minimum humidity rates, with wind speed. All this in order to identify the thermal comfort of the residents of cities of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, as a maximum comfort and raise the efficiency of work in those cities.

In order to achieve the desired objectives, the research was divided into two axes:

The first axis: climatic factors affecting the thermal comfort of the residents of the study area.

The second axis: the application of thermal comfort standard on the residents of the study area. In addition to the most important conclusions of the study.
