History as a tool for promoting national identity, Reading in the letters of the virtue of Andalusia

Abstract

This research revolves around the use of history in the promotion of the national identity, as the study of history aims in one of its facets to improve the reality of (nations) and (countries) and to promote (national identity) with all what this singular (title) holds from a comprehensive understanding that includes meanings ( Affiliation, pride, loyalty, giving, sacrifice and pride), which we will show in the first axis of this research.

 On the other hand, we touched an application case that could be a good example of these advanced meanings above. The multiple messages included in Andalusian history books, which bore the title (a message in the virtue of Andalusia) can be considered a form of historical writing that develops the meanings we talked about, and we will try  To explore the contents related to it through the following two axes:

 First: on history and identity

 Second: The virtues and the promotion of Andalusian identity
