Spatial contrastive analysis of the appearance of environmental visual pollution in the city of kadhimiya

Abstract

Visual pollution has become a phenomenon that harms society and the beauty of the city through the problems that occur due to this phenomenon.  The current study included analyzing the appearance of environmental visual pollution in the city of Kadhimiya, determining the causes of visual pollution and revealing the spatial variations of pollution manifestations within the residential neighborhoods of the study area.  The study showed that there is a spatial variation of visual pollution in the city of Kadhimiya, as hardly any residential neighborhood is devoid of a certain aspect of visual pollution.  Fines for violators who cause the pollution problem, which is one of the best solutions to confront the problem and limit its impact.
