Abstract

The Almohad state that ruled the Maghreb and Andalusia (451-668AH/1146-1269AD) is considered one of the most prominent states that emerged in the Islamic West, being a strong, sprawling state with a wide geographical area. It was enjoining good and forbidding evil, applying the law of God that he commanded, and establishing justice among people, and its goal was to establish an Islamic caliphate, to unite the ranks of Muslims in the Maghreb and Andalusia after the emergence of several Islamic countries, and the threat of Christian kingdoms to the country of Andalusia increased.
