The interrelationship between economic activities and land transportation methods in Tarmiyah district

Abstract

The research deals with the study of the interrelationship between economic activities and land transportation methods in the Tarmiyah district with geographical description and analysis. It is of two main parts, they are as follows: the first one dealt with the mutual impact between transportation methods and agricultural activity in the Tarmiyah district, while the other dealt with the mutual relationship between transportation methods and industrial activity in the study area. The study reached several results, the most prominent of which is that there is a positive relationship between transport projects represented in the construction and development of the road network and economic activities, which helped in the emergence and development of rural and urban areas.
