Generosity and miserliness in the poetry of Ibn al-Khayyat al-Dimashqi

Abstract

The study of the dichotomy of (generosity / miserliness) was of great importance, as it is of significant economic value, which expressed the opposing dualities of the depth of the reality in which the poet lived. The poet, and to show the contradictory relations of society, and the value of the variance, therefore, I dealt in this research with the dichotomy of generosity and miserliness in the poems of the poet Ibn Al-Khayyat. Generosity iin society, and on the other hand, denying and leaving everything related to the rejected values ​​of miserliness.
