Abstract

                  the Iranian Revolution has attracted the attention of many academic, political and media circles until now. The revolution represented a new model in the ideology of politics for some, a challenge on both the political and ideological levels, it constituted a model and role model for others. On the other hand, the Iranian political system, whose first building blocks from the first day of the success of the Islamic revolution formed a fertile subject for political science studies, whether in the field of the regime or in foreign relations. The Iranian political system presented a new experience of the relationship between religion and politics at a time of stability. In it, the separation between them is based on the fact that this separation allows for better growth and development for both of them apart from the other, and the Iranian regime came to paint a new form of a political system in which it places religion at the heart and head of the system, and draws a distinct form of political, economic and social relations as well as external to Iranian society. The foreign policies of the new regime took a different direction from those of the Shah's regime. After distinct and strategic relations with the United States of America and the traditional powers in the Arab region, the new regime came carrying with it a radical rhetoric in which it attacked the arrogant forces, headed by the United States and Israel, and verbally pledged to defend and ally with the forces of the weak on the ground
