The role and rights of women in Mesopotamia

Abstract

   In all societies around the world, women have had and still have a great role in all aspects of life, whether recognized or not, starting with the role of the human being on this earth in addition to the role of the wife and mother, passing through by taking on goddesses and working in the fields, industry, commerce, playing music, writing poetry, priestess, ruler, etc.  According to the opinions of researchers, its leadership is considered through these different roles on the temporal (history) and spatial stages (Mesopotamia) according to its ancient ages, starting from prehistoric times (the stone ages) and then the historical ages that this civilization went through
