Abstract
The islands of Bahrain have been known for more than five thousand years and have been a link between the three great civilizations. They have spread geographically between the regions of Al-Ahsa, Al-Qatif and the Archipelago and reached Basra in southern Iraq. Their economic importance has gained its geographical location, as well as the presence of natural pearls and abundant freshwater. Because the Bahrain's economic , strategic importance, invaders from inside and outside the Gulf, who represented the Ottomans, Safavids and Mamluks in Egypt and the Portuguese, were greedy for it. The rulers of these islands were led by several states and families whose power and influence were derived from their tribes in the Arabian . Of those families that ruled Bahrain, al-Jabour 1440-1525, the real and actual founder of that great emirate is Zamil bin Hussein bin Nasser bin Jabr al-Ameri in 1440 This was followed by his son Sheikh Ajoud bin Zamil, whose period represents a period of prosperity, strength and expansion of the Emirate of Jabour, which reached its maximum extent in the Arabian Peninsula and the Gulf. He was the first to take the title of (Sultan) and achieved all those who keep pace with the rule of Bahrain prosperity and development of the country, but came in 1525, the actual year of the disappearance of the Emirate of Jabour after the events of the killing of Sheikh Muqrin and buried in Qatif, and the star Jabbour in their Sultan in Bahrain and Qatif where he replaced them Al-Fadl and their Sheikh Rashid became ruler of Basra, Al-Qatif and Al-Ahsa at the same time, thus ending the Emirate of Jabour in Bahrain by the end of its power.
