Abstract
The history of the Iraqi communist party attracted the attention of researchers and many theses and dissertations dealt with the history of the abovementioned party since its establishment. Besides, most of them concentrated on the political aspects and its role in the Iraqi patriotic movement until 1979.
Although many studies were concerned with the history of the Iraqi communist party, they did not highlight other important aspects of the party such as the intellectual and social structure of the party and the minorities that joined the party concerned including Jews, they were described as the one of the most significant minorities that had an influence in the intellectual path of the party in a very important period of the party, it was in the forties of the twentieth century. It gave a crystal clear clarification towards the role of Iraqi Jews in the communist party and their adoption of the left-wing thoughts not to mention their extremist views in presenting its thoughts.
The researcher divided the paper into: introduction, preliminaries and he depended on the chronological order of the Jews role in the Iraqi communist party and their leadership of party's central committees in the light of widespread arrests that impacted communist party leaders. Moreover, this period was known as the period of Jewish domination towards the Iraqi communist party and defining its stances and paths towards the internal and Arabian issues like the Palestinian cause, the Jews were in favor of dividing Palestine in 1947 and establishing the state of ((Israel)) where it highlighted the situation of Jews in the Iraqi communist party.
