This study aims to examine "A Treatise on Ambiguity and Its Occurrence in the Noble Qur’an" by Imam Abdul Ghani ibn Ismail al-Nabulsi (d. 1143 AH), to introduce it, and to present its text according to scientific verification methods. The research addresses confirming the attribution of the treatise, describing its manuscript, verifying its text, and documenting its sources. It also uncovers al-Nabulsi’s methodology in dealing with ambiguity through explaining its concept and types, discussing the opinions of rhetoricians and Qur’an exegetes, and evaluating between them. The study concludes that al-Nabulsi confirmed the occurrence of ambiguity in the Qur’an and adhered to dividing it into intrinsic and ascribed types, using a critical approach based on Qur’anic and linguistic evidence, highlighting the scientific value of the treatise in rhetorical studies .
