Imam al-Jassas's approach to legal interpretation: The verse on the punishment for stealing as a model

Abstract

​ This research presented Imam Al-Jassas’s approach to jurisprudential interpretation, taking Judgement on stealing as a model, and mentioning details about the stolen money that reqires amputation, its threshold and type, and about the male theif and the female thief who must be amputated, In addition to different types of stealing which, doesn’t need more than discretionary penalty and the meaning of Alhireez. And other precise details related to  jurisprudential interpretation to the extent of stealing according to Al_Jasas.
