The scarcity of pronoun reference to one of the two sympathizers: between grammatical theory and linguistic reality

Abstract

Some linguists believe that it is rare for a sentence to have two nouns in conjunction that share a single pronoun. There is disagreement regarding the definition of rarity; some scholars consider it an anomaly, while others consider it ugly, and others considered it rare, but research has proven that it is neither rare nor rare, and moreover, it cannot be described as ugly, because there are many texts in the Holy Quran that are of this nature. What is contained in the Holy Quran cannot be described in these terms. Many linguists have interpreted this linguistic phenomenon in various ways, and have offered different explanations for it.
