Abstract

A brief research paper titled “The difference in altitude and its impact on the establishment of the crescent moons”, in which I dealt with the concept of the crescent moons, the wisdom of assigning the time slots to the moon and not the sun, then I mentioned the disagreement of the jurists by presenting the image of the issue, editing the place of the dispute, the cause of the dispute, stating the opinions, evidence, and discussions, choosing the most likely opinion on the issue, the opinion of the Council of Senior Scholars in our country and the Islamic Jurisprudence Council, then I mentioned the most important implications of the difference in altitude in the establishment of the crescent moons, such as fasting, zakat, hajj, sacred months, iddat, and transactions, as well.
