Abstract

The study of the effect of industrial directional polarization between basic and non-essential industries on the urban developmental disparity in Kirkuk Governorate is an important source for many studies that provide spatial indicators of positive and negative industrial polarization changes, attraction, similarities and differences in the province’s districts or neighboring cities, including natural, environmental, human studies, population distribution and development. Result in industrial technology and information system for industry activities according to spatial characteristics Therefore, the study came to help researchers to extract numerical data for the impact of industrial directional polarization between basic, non-basic and alternative industries on the urban developmental disparity in Kirkuk Governorate, and its role in creating a state of spatial sustainability of industry activities through activating statistical programs, including the spss-v22 statistical program and quantitative Excel programs. In addition to the modern industrial-economic measurement software, and the v14-minitab program, which enables the competent authorities to determine the urban disparity and its impact on the districts of the governorate, as the research highlighted how to analyze spatially the effect of industrial directional polarization between basic and alternative industries in Kirkuk Governorate for the year 2024, as the research showed the distribution Survey, population, and manpower in the various industries of the districts of Kirkuk Governorate for the year 2024 for the population, It turns out that the district of Kirkuk ranked first in terms of population, with a number of (969,519) people, at a rate of (53.41%) of the total population of the governorate, and an area of (3713) km2 of the total area of the governorate, respectively, as well as by gender, unemployment rate, and activity rate. economic) and demographic indicators, as males recorded (48.67%), the unemployment rate was (5.9) and the economic activity rate was (44.53%), while females recorded (49.12%) and the unemployment rate was (8.5). The rate of economic activity is (44.53%), and the percentages of large and medium-sized basic industries of the districts. The statistical analysis came to study the change in the industrial structure and its indicators, as the number of various industries reached (2116), while the number of those qualified to work in industries was estimated at (8218) workers. , as The foundations for classifying the impact of geographical determinants and influences on the industrial structure and trends of industrial production polarization were extracted, including the polarization concentration ratio and the relative importance of the polarization index, the developmental ratios of polarization trends, urban developmental variance and economic efficiency, as well as the developmental ratios of polarization trends, urban developmental variance and economic efficiency of basic industries. And non-essential and alternative in the province of Kirkuk.
