Baghdad Governorate is characterized by many relative advantages that have made its location a point of attraction for many economic activities, especially industrial activity, in addition to its high population and their educational level, which was indicated through Table (2). This shows the percentage of educational attainment of its inhabitants in each of its districts, which contributed to the availability of skilled labor and scientific competencies that have the ability to operate many factories, as well as the abundance of purchasing power for local industrial products. The population also had a role in the expansion of the industrial market, as the number of workers in the manufacturing industry and factory operators for each governorate was indicated and these percentages were represented on the map of Iraq. The population also had a role in industrial policies (the sum of government procedures planned and implemented for industrial projects). It consists of government institutions and ministries, all of which are concentrated in Baghdad Governorate. Through them, many large industries belonging to the public sector were established, and their numbers, the number of workers in them, and their total wages in each of the governorate’s districts were indicated in Table (5), and the number of industrial establishments was represented on the governorate’s map
