Abstract
The research highlights the use of modern technical methods in constructing an integrated model for sewage networks in Al-Tarmia District. It highlights the importance of basic services and their distribution and construction mechanisms in the city. The research aims to measure the extent of these services in relation to the size of the city and the number of beneficiaries, and to analyze the extent of pressure on the networks and the impact this has on their efficiency and the quality of their functional performance. The research also addresses the fundamental problem of the lack of a sewage network, which has forced residents of the study area to rely on agricultural drains and some irrigation canals to dispose of their waste, in addition to constructing ground basins (septums). This has exacerbated the spread of diseases and epidemics, such as skin diseases and infectious diseases associated with water pollution, leading to a deterioration in environmental quality and the general health of the community. The study emphasizes the need to develop modern planning systems and advanced technologies to help improve wastewater management and mitigate the negative impact on the population and the environment. It also identifies possible solutions to address challenges and achieve better infrastructure sustainability through the use of GIS technology (Arc GIS 10.8.4). Detailed plans have been developed for these networks within the Tarmiyah district, contributing to the district's growth and development. These plans will assist decision-makers and those responsible for service projects there in taking appropriate measures to resolve problems related to the disposal of untreated wastewater.
