Reward is the compensation for good deeds, the fruit of one's efforts in this worldly life. Punishment, on the other hand, is the recompense for bad deeds, the consequence of disobeying God's commands and committing what He has forbidden. The importance of this topic lies in clarifying the semantic relationships that connect words based on their presence in the sentence structure or through context. This is because the language in Arabic dictionaries is often merely a collection of scattered words with no semantic connection between them.
