Abstract

One of the important goals of the Jonglei Canal project is to become an engine for growth and development in the Jonglei region, achieving social and economic progress to encompass the entire southern region through the completion of the canal and its associated development projects. This will greatly accelerate the economic and social development process through funding for mechanized mixed farming to be introduced after the completion of the canal. It is evident that the future development of South Sudan hinges on the construction of the Jonglei Canal and its associated development projects, making it the best option for South Sudan.
