Abstract

This research aims to demonstrate the origin of the Ayubian State (567-648 AH) and its scientific interests, and has included three axes: The first axis dealt with the establishment of the Ayubian State, while the second axis took care of: With the interest of the Ayubian State in science and scientists, the third axis spoke of the role of scientists in enriching scientific life. One of the most important findings of the research was that the Ayubian era witnessed an unprecedented scientific and cultural renaissance, where scientific and intellectual life flourished in various fields of knowledge, whether in medicine, engineering, astronomy, jurisprudence, origins, language and literature, and the prosperity of applied science. This is due to several factors, most notably the encouragement and care of the successors and princes of the Ayoub family to scientists, their establishment of schools, libraries and freedom of opinion. This prompted the migration of a large number of Islamic Moroccan scientists to countries and territories under the Ayubian era.
