Abstract

Abstract: The research area is characterized by its geomorphological and geological diversity, which includes rock formations dating back to ancient times. Its climate is also characterized by rainfall in winter and spring, and a hot summer with high temperatures. Morphometric laws were used to determine geomorphological characteristics, and this data plays a significant role in investment and sustainable development, making this region vibrant with renewable resources. Extracting the water network and identifying the existing basins have increased its value and high investment potential. The research area also has topographical features consisting of hills and valleys whose slope is towards Lake Tharthar, which represents a large water basin in which the valley waters are stored. The contour lines range between 60 and 120 meters in height above sea level.
