After reviewing children's literature in general, and the challenges it faces in various directions, particularly in the Arab world and in the European countries that preceded it in this field, especially France and England, which were pioneers in this important area that suits children's minds and resonates with their feelings and emotions, as well as the difficulties faced by Arab writers specializing in this field, and the embarrassment they encountered in terms of writing, printing, and publishing, and the condescending view from critics in the literary field, and even in the social sphere, of those who specialize in this field, which led to the depletion of the Arab scene, and its scarcity or even its delay in engaging in this arena compared to other nations that preceded us in this field.
