The Arabs used humor as a means of expressing social or political criticism in a sarcastic manner , or to highlight the paradoxes and contradictions in everyday life. These jokes can be derived from popular stories, proverbs, or funny tales, and they often carry a deep message despite their apparent simplicity, so Arabs expressed their amusement in their own unique way , It was reflected in their proverbs and sayings, especially in the proverbs that constituted rich material for the people, in which they gathered their laughter and anecdotes. The proverbs served as a space for freedom, and a mirror for the details of daily life with all its paradoxes and absurdities. They were also an outlet for the repressed and apparent desires of individuals and groups, and a fertile pasture for artistic creativity that... It arouses amazement and admiration in people.
