Abstract

The personality Hassan Polat had a major role in Turkey’s internal politics. He played a major role in opposing the Republican People’s Party, especially in its economic policy. Therefore, he was one of the most prominent figures who organized the Democratic Party since its founding. He worked as a representative in the National Assembly for the Democratic Party since the 1946 elections and continued in the opposition until The 1950 elections, and after the victory of the Democratic Party in these elections, he became Minister of Labor and took over the new ministry, which is considered his first sovereign position. From day one, he focused on helping workers and finding solutions to their suffering, especially health problems, and he worked to build many From hospitals to them.
