Foundations of Interpretation According to Imam Noor al-Din Al-Baqouli in His Book "Kashf al-Mushkilat wa Iydah al-Ma'ziyyat

Abstract

The research aimed to explain the foundations relied upon by Imam al-Baquli in his interpretation of revealing problems. In it, I followed the descriptive and analytical approach, and in it I talked about al-Baquli’s interpretation of the Qur’an by the Qur’an, his interpretation of the Qur’an by the Sunnah, and his interpretation of the Qur’an by the sayings of the Companions and Followers, and then the conclusion, which contains the most important results, including :

1- Al-Baquli often interpreted the Qur’an with the Qur’an, as he often interpreted Qur’anic verses one by another.

2- In the interpretation of the Holy Qur'an based on the Sunnah of the Prophet, it was shown that the Baqoli did not fully rely on this aspect.

3- Al-Baqoli did not take into account the authenticity of hadiths and their graduation in his interpretation of the Qur'an with the Sunnah of the Prophet.

4- Al-Baquli did not rely much on the sayings of the Companions and Followers in his interpretation of the Holy Qur’an.
