Morphometric characteristics of the Al-Husseiniya water table project in Karbala Governorate using GIS

Abstract

The difference in the diversity and variation of the impact of river processes leads to a difference in the formation of river forms, and they can be the result of both erosion and sedimentation processes together (erosion-sedimentation, such as river bends, folds, and river twists, or resulting from the sedimentation process only, and are called sedimentary, such as river islands and river tongues, The research is represented by a morphometric study of irrigation projects that includes various erosional and sedimentary river forms such as river bends, river islands, and river tongues, revealing their measurements and knowing their morphometric dimensions.
