This research aims to highlight the expertise of the Hafiz Abdul Azim Al-Mundhiri through his critiques of the imams in his valuable book, "Mukhtasar Sunan Imam Abi Dawood Al-Sijistani." In this study, I have endeavored to examine all the instances where Hafiz Abdul Azim Al-Mundhiri commented on other hadith scholars, then extracted the hadiths and narrations mentioned in those contexts, discussed these statements with scientific precision, compared them with the opinions of prominent critics, and clarified the correct viewpoint. The study concludes with several important findings: First, Hafiz Abdul Azim Al-Mundhiri relied on the statements of leading imams in his critique of other scholars. Second, his statements and critiques of other scholars were accurate. Third, the critical remarks made by Hafiz Abdul Azim Al-Mundhiri hold great significance, as they prominently reveal his methodological approach to criticism. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
