The Holy Quran contains several words that, in context, indicate exceeding the limits of moderation or the normal extent of the characteristic or behavior implied by the word, which
sometimes expanded by the context, such as the word “tyrant” which appears in the context of the story of Pharaoh, where the meaning of the word exceeded the limits of arrogance and stubbornness to the point of claiming divinity. I have found that this word and others have exceeded the limits of what is originally blameworthy or praiseworthy to the point of becoming blameworthy, as in the word “extravagance” beyond the limits of exaggeration, because exaggeration may be within the limits of what is customary when multiplied, but exceeding the limits is a deliberate departure from what is customary, with that meaning mixed with other meanings that demonstrate the precision of the Qur'an in its use
