Abstract

      Description is one of the most important aesthetics of the novel, as it accompanies the narration, and contributes to depicting events and their escalation. No novel is devoid of its techniques and manifestations, as it appears in the artistic structures of the novel text (character, place, events). In this article, we aim to highlight the manifestations of description and its narrative forms in the novel Frankenstein by Ahmed Saadawi. We reached a set of results, namely that the writer did not describe things a lot in his novel, as most of the events go towards murder and corpses, as if he moved away from describing the life that surrounds them in a broad way. Rather, from describing the characters, he moved to the event description of the acceleration of events and the beginning of the narrative plot, which was represented by the appearance of an immortal criminal. The writer did not pay much attention to these characters, but rather focused on their journalistic work and linking them to the interest of the work only. The writer did not neglect to clarify the characteristic of each character by describing their external and psychological appearance sometimes. He also worked to clarify all aspects of his characters so that the reader almost realizes the scene with all its dimensions for the characters that formed the novel. After describing the characters and their places  And her life and the things that surround her, even with a little expansion, he reached his goal of creating the fictional hero of his novel.
