Abstract
Objectives of the current research: The current research aims to identify:
1 - Psychological abuse among middle school students from the teachers’ point of view.
2- School dropout among middle school students from the teachers’ point of view.
3- The correlation between psychological abuse and school dropout among middle school students from the teachers’ point of view. The current research was limited to middle school teachers in the second Baghdad Rusafa Education Directorate for the academic year 2024-2025.
Theoretical framework: The current research reviewed the relevant literature and theories regarding the research variables.
Search procedures:-
1 - The researchers will adopt the psychological abuse scale for the researcher (in 2019) after ensuring its validity and reliability.
2- Building a school dropout scale and verifying its validity, reliability, and method of answering it.
3 - The above two measures were applied to a sample of middle school teachers, which amounted to (100) teachers and schools, and the researchers used the statistical package to analyze the data.
Search results: -
- It turns out that middle school students suffer from psychological abuse from the point of view of teachers.
- The results showed the diversity of reasons for school dropout among middle school students from the school’s point of view
- The results showed a relationship between psychological abuse and school dropout among middle school students from the teachers’ point of view
The researchers presented a set of recommendations and proposals
