Abstract:

Al-Buhuti is one of the most prominent scholars of the eleventh century AH in the field of jurisprudence and language. His grammatical efforts were distinguished by their combination of jurisprudential precision and linguistic control. He paid great attention to grammatical rules in his jurisprudential commentaries, relying on the sayings of grammarians such as Sibawayh, Al-Farra’, and Al-Zamakhshari, using the grammatical rule to strengthen the jurisprudential evidence.
