Abstract

       Social rituals are a fundamental pillar of Iraqi heritage and folk literature, They have been preserved by the collective consciousness through oral transmission from generation to generation, Oral literature, preserved in people's memories and conscience, has been an effective tool in documenting and sustaining these rituals, thus becoming a pivotal element in shaping the cultural and social identity of the Iraqi people.

      The novel "Intended Mistake" is also significant because it focuses on multiple social issues that reflect the features of Iraqi reality in the shadow of war and its repercussions, The author depicts the horrors of war in a moving literary style that deeply engages the reader, prompting them to contemplate the Iraqi experience from a human and cognitive perspective .
