The scholars and reformers of the Ummah followed his approach, and he was their primary reference. He provided them with the optimal solution to all the problems and issues they, as individuals and groups, might face. Consequently, the idea of taking the initiative to reform became deeply rooted in the minds of righteous people who carry the Book of God and act according to His law. If corruption or deviation occurs, it is their duty to correct and address it. Therefore, the topic of reform and correcting errors following the approach followed by the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is extremely important and one of the topics that has preoccupied many scholars, thinkers, and reformers. This is because reform has a profound impact on people's worldly and otherworldly lives, especially in our present age, in which deviation and abandonment of the true religion brought by the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) have become widespread. Scholars also need to understand its precise meanings, which they employ to clarify the intended meaning of God Almighty's words.
