Abstract

The research aims to know the impact of the TikTok program on middle school students in the first Rusafa Baghdad Education and their social behavior. The survey method was used by applying it to a random sample of 517 male and female students from 10 public and private schools.Theresults of the study showed that the rate of use of TikTok by students in the study sample was more than five hours or more, at a rate of (36.9%). It also showed that the nature of use of the application was to follow and browse foreign content, with an average response of (2.34), and in order to create content in a foreign language, the average response was (2.35).These are two high percentages based on the evaluation divided according to the average criteria of the three-point scale of responses. The results showed that TikTokpromotes Western values ​​and that the media content on the platform has an impact on adolescents’ attitudes towards family, colleagues, and society, and on their social behavior.
