The Arab Homeland in Al-Saqqaf’s Poetry (D1431H)

Abstract

     The fame of the poet Ahmad Al-Shaqqaf extended beyond his homeland of Kuwait to the entire Arab world. He was recognized as a poet, writer, diplomat, and a successful and distinguished cultural administrator who left a positive and beneficial impact in every position he held. The poet closely followed the events that took place in his country and throughout the Arab nations—such as Palestine. His poetry exposed the malicious goals of aggressors and occupiers, and conveyed his belief that the sun of freedom would rise, and that people would one day breathe the air of liberty, no matter how long it took or how great the sacrifices.

     This study is titled "The Arab Nations in the Poetry of Al-Shaqqaf (D1431H)" and it is divided into two main sections: The first section presents a biography of the poet Al-Shaqqaf. The second section discusses The Arab Nations in the Poetry of Al-Shaqqaf.

     It concludes with a summary that highlights the key findings of the research, all conducted using an analytical methodology.
