Abstract

     This historical research meant dealing with a sensitive period of time in the history of Arabs and Muslims, and the effort was exerted in explaining the role of scholars in the Iraqi city of Wasit, located south of the capital, Baghdad. The research produced a set of historical data that recorded the role of Wasti scholars in learning and then in education and in spreading it among students during that period of time.
