Abstract

Foundations of the German economic projects in Iran date back to the 19th century, especially after WW1. After losing the war, the German activies with other countries, like Iran, stopped. However, discovery and extraction of trade quantities of oil in Iran helped in the return of Germans strongly for oil extraction in Iran and the relations between the two countries were reestablished at a larger scale.
