This study examines the vocative style according to the grammatical guidelines of the Quranic readings. This study addresses one aspect of the grammatical disagreements that have emerged among grammarians: the difference in the interpretation of the diacritical marks that appear in multiple Quranic readings in the same context. Grammarians have differed in their interpretation of the differences between the diacritical marks that appear between one reading and another in the same context. Grammarians have interpreted some readings in more than one grammatical sense, including the vocative style. This study brings together the readings that contain a grammarian opinion, mentioning the vocative style along with other possible opinions for that reading. This diversity in grammatical guidance is due to the intellectual differences among grammarians when interpreting the intended meaning of that diacritical mark
