The events are actually revolving around what happened to the Moriscos in that era (1492-1609) about the fate of a sect that has been part of Andalusia society, having rights and obligations, but after the fall of Granada and the end of Arab rule therein , this sect has been targeted and considered a minority and marginalized in the most heinous ways to erase the Arab presence and erase its identity that extended over centuries in the West. So, the Moriscos became media professionals and historians, to witness history and document the actions of the absurd and backward authorities towards them, in addition to preserving their culture and their adherence with awareness in a literature called Morisco literature, which has been born secretly under difficult circumstances at the time of gagging, to be the most important tools of struggle that made the world look at this issue from the human side and take into account their aspirations and announce the continuation of their presence in Spain.
It is superfluous to say that they preserved their Arab identity by offering thousands of victims as a sacrifice for that and rejected tyranny at all times and places. Orientalists, including Luthi Llopit Baralt and Arab researchers who are fond of translating and reading literature, knowledge and sciences, set out to uncover this literature despite the attempts of the authorities and their conspiracy to exile, kill and silence the Moriscos and alter their origins and religion, which suggest a cultural and civilizational legacy left behind by their ancestors during their presence in Andalusia.
