Abstract

The phenomenon of the hero in Arabic poetry, ancient and modern, is a prominent phenomenon for which poets have paved a wide space in their poems. It has shown us different images of the concept of the hero, and these images are clearly evident, as the research aims to highlight the image of the political hero in Al-Abyordi’s poetry, and to take pride in our literary heritage in the Abbasid era and with our poet Ali. In particular, to provide literary studies with an important topic due to its poetic creativity. I decided to benefit from more than one approach, as one approach is not sufficient to cover all the details of the research, especially the historical approach to research the details of the phenomenon since ancient times, as well as the descriptive-analytical approach to trace the characteristics of each detail addressed by the poets, analyze them, and show the factors that helped in the diversity of poetry. his heroism,

Therefore, I chose this topic out of a desire to study the creativity of Al-Abyordi’s poetry and to demonstrate his brilliant style of expressing the image of the hero, given the sublime meanings of heroism. The research was devoted to talking about the image of the political hero and included three demands. It began with the image of the heroic caliph, the image of the heroic prince, the image of the heroic minister, and finally the conclusion that showed Al-Abyordi’s poetry replete with many images of heroism in which he was able to employ the features of the heroes he summoned in his poetry in an honest and relevant poetic image. An emotional charge transmitted from his conscience so that the recipient can interact with it and arouse his emotions with the event.
