Abstract

Based on the definition of impressionism and the simplified definition of this literary school and the focus it contains on the writer himself in his treatment of one of the issues drawn from the reality in which he lives and judging it through his own Impression of it, our research was with the aim of studying the Impact of the Issue of the influence of impressionism on his poetry, which was not abundant In it, of course.  At the beginning of his life, he composed some poems and did not continue later. We did not fInd a single collection of poetry by him, but his few poems were sufficient to outline the features of his personality and his impressions regarding the issues that he raised and in which he composed his poetry and the solutions that he developed that were consistent with his own certainty and personal vision regarding each specific issue. We have relied on  The descriptive analytical approach and we reached a set of results, which are that the personality traits of Taha Hussein are sad about the reality of his nation and a fighter against the superstitions and deceptions that spread in his time. He loves the land of Egypt very much, but he blames its sons who neglected it and called on them to get out of their reality and self-satisfaction not affected by positions.  His preachers, he puts the public interest above his personal interest, and he Is a sincere lover. In his sentimental poetry, there are qualities of virginal love crowned with purity and a call for true love far from desires. He is sensible, calm, and deliberate in his satire, calling on the other party to reconsider. These qualities appear clearly and clearly in his poetry, and this is due to the special impression that Taha Hussein gives.  Through his poetic products, his moral qualities are known, In addition to the topics he talks about that he derived from his reality, as well as the solutions he presents stemming from his own vision.
