This research focuses on the meanings and how they are addressed in the poetry of Al-Sharif Al-Radi. The close connection between language and meaning is essential in forming literary texts. The meanings are taken by the poet because he believes they are the intended purpose of speech. Moreover, meanings are not static; they evolve to align with the poet's emotional values. Al-Radi's ultimate goal is to refine meanings, which express his personal emotional values and purposes. In his poetry, Al-Radi demonstrated that words are indicators of meanings. Words have no value without the manipulation of their meanings. Thus, Al-Radi’s words and meanings reflect his emotions and are expressed in various themes. The creation of meaning is the highest goal for the poet, and this has become a prominent feature of Arabic poetry, especially in Al-Radi's works.
