Concrete industry is one of the most important construction industries that deals with cement and heterogeneous mixture of aggregates with water,   

In addition to additives including reaction accelerators reaction slowers and water – reducing additives,these materials that go into the concrete industry cause many health risks to workers in this industry,therefore the American OSHA  regulations wich are among the most important international systems have indicated the areas of application of OSHA standards in the construction industries in general.It is represented by (training and awareness ,risk management,technical guidelines and technical standards , inspection and monitoring , emergency management) ,among the companies that are interested in applying occupational safety standards accurately is Lafarge which was adopted as a model for study.this compang has contributed to equipping many huge projects in Iraq by producing,this company produces standard concrete mixes and various types of regular concrete and reinforced concrete it also produces artevia floors which are a type of concrete with prominent aggregates, this company adopts occupational health and safety rules and is keen to implement them accurately in addition to the presence of a specialized staff in first aid for possible injuries,However there are many injuries among workers but at a low level compared to companies where the application of occupational health and safety rules is weak.
