Abstract

The research dealt with “Personality Types in the Novel An Intentional Error” with the artistic visions of the writer “Mohamed Saber Obaid”, where he focused on the role of the characters as the main focus of the novel, and how they express the writer’s vision and conscience.

The importance of the artistic study of the novel “Intentional Mistake” comes because it sheds light on many social issues that reflect the experience of Iraqi society during the war period and after it. The writer presents the brutality of war in a distinctive literary way, which affects the reader and makes him reflect on those experiences deeply.

Studying this novel is necessary to understand the depth of the social and  humanitarian impact of wars and conflicts. We have relied on the descriptive and analytical approach, and one of the most important findings reached by the researchers is that the writer usually relies on the use of digression in his narration, as the characters appear unbalanced in their behavior, as they acquire acertain,chara،cteristic.Then,you,loseit,then,you,gain,it again.
